PROJECT TWO PLAN



Aim:
Develop an architectural proposal and present it as Architectural Fiction set in a near future (between 2020-2030)

Develop and record work in your blog

Week 7:
Confirm your project direction
Type of Architecture
Scale
Target users
Possible scenarios

Week 8:
Research the types of spaces the user community might need in you scenarios
Community includes the general public and those who work and live there
The footprint tour should work in is 1:500- 1:1000

Week 9:
Imagine yourself as one of the future users of your proposed architectural entity
Identify all aspects of spaces and services and imagine how you would use and navigate between and through them
Work within a scale of 1:5- 1:10

Mid-Semester break:
Update tour blog
Continue refining ideas and development of Project 2 proposal

Week 10:
Think about a series of event that are to take place in your architectural fiction
Confirm they key aspects and features in your architecture and consider how they can be communicated through your story
How do you take your audience through your presentation
What are the architectural elements you need to continue to develop to successfully communicate your ideas and make them believable
How are you going to prepare to tell you your story? (Movies, digital slides, posters)

Week 11:
How are you going to prepare to tell your story? (movies, digital slides, posters)

Week 12:
Discuss project 2 assessment criteria with tutor
Plan for the next 3 weeks
What are you going to prepare for the final presentation/ submission

Week 13:
Last talk with tutor
Presentation ideas should be confirmed
Presentation time announced

Week 14:
No tutorial or lectures, continue development

Week 15:
Presentation and submission
